Cut help: It seems each cut I do keeps getting deeper and deeper, should I be concerned? - Help.com

try snapping your wrist with a rubberband

What the, what are you doing slicing yourself? Of course you need to be worrying, if you keep on your going to cut a blood vein and you don’t want that.

well have you tried shaking salt on where you want to cut and then putting ice on it and holding it there…it burns if pain is what you want

why do you guys do it anyway? i dont understand. my friend would slice her wrist horizontally all the way to her elbow side and had one vertical line passing all of it.

if you just want to forget put on shoes and run just run sumwhere ….to the store around your house apartment ect.

It’s hard to explain. I do it on the back of my arm though.

Yeah, I started on my fingers then did it on the back of my arm. I’ve only been doing it for over a week though.

I don’t hit major veins… I just bleed some.

#1 No one would expect me to #2 I guess they aren’t big enough to be truly noticed. My mom noticed the first ones on my upper arm, but I just said it was the cat.

Well… my mom was getting upset because I was lashing out at her sometimes or just seemed quiet, so she asked what was wrong. I told her I didn’t want to tell her but asked if I could see a councler. So she said yes. I don’t know how much it’ll help, but I hope it does.

well try talking to your mom….a shrink should help….do you just not want your mom to know or are you not ready to tell her yet

she might freak out and she might not…but whether you tell her or keep it a secret she will find out…. you can hide nothing forever…would you rather her find out accidentally or by you telling her….and if she noticed a cut you might be suprised to find out that she already knows…especially since you asked to see a shrink theres a good chance that she’s smarter then you think…..its sweet that you want to protect her but she needs to know………
