Do you support the death penality?

if so why?

i personally think it is needed for criminals who commit murder, however it is actually cheaper on society to have them spend life behind bars. (basically it costs more to kill someone than to put them up for 20-30 years) this is due to the fact that appeals and court cases and all that cost alot of money. and some may argue life behind bars is a fate worth than death..i have wondered that myself. what are you guys views?

Yes, absolutely.

On average it cost taxpayers $31,000 to incarcerate one inmate for one year. There are over 2 million Americans in jails in this country and we continue to build more jails. To me that money could be better spent helping our infrastructure and feeding and housing the homeless population.

So yes, I support the death penalty. Televised if it would prevent just one person into turning into a criminal.

Yea i think death is the easy way out. They need to suffer their consequences by being in a cell for the rest of their lives

I think it depends on the case. For serial killers, I think that the death penalty is a definite necessity, because we basically just need to get rid of them. They have no conscience, because if they did, they wouldn’t kill over and over. One time killers should spend life behind bars with a picture of the individual they killed as a constant reminder of a precious life they took.

I figure why kill them? Just in case they’re innocent, why not let them live life behind bars? Someone asked me an interesting question recently, should death row inmates or long term inmates be able to receive assisted suicide? that would save us some taxes.
