set help: map trouble on help.com - Help.com

map trouble on help.com

I have everything set up to show my location on maps, but it still says “an unknown location”.

I have map settings on in my settings and I have my location set on the map, and still, it sets me at “,,”
whats up?

I have that problem too, like it shows where I am on the map but not the state or anything…(=S)…

Your profile says you live in Illinois and I’m not a geography expert but the map appears to show your avatar in….that’s right, Illinois. What exactly is the problem??

Because when they have your IP Address, they know what company your with (Broadband Supplier) and so they presume that you are near the headquarters of it.
