Angular Cheilitis?
It’s when you get cuts in the corner of your mouth. I noticed I got one two days ago. It was the first one I ever got, so I was looking it up on Google to find out how to get rid of it - but I found I might have an Iron deficiency that causes this.
I have Pale skin color, fatigue, irritability, (some slight) dizziness, weakness, shortness of breath, and headache. Migraines run in my family though and my dad IS Anemic but I got my iron level tesed in February and they said it was fine. I was pregnant at that time though. I miscarried.
Do you think this is possible or is it just chapped lips? Even with the worst chapped lips, I’ve never gotten these.. and my lips aint chapped just a tad dry. The other corner of my mouth I think is starting to do the same thing. I’d feel weird going to the doctor over this.. my sister told me “it’s no big deal, it hurts but it will go away.” She’s gotten one before.
I’m on birth control too though, so it might account for some of my symptoms.
