Math Depression

I currently have one more class left to graduate. It’s extremely hard and I truly don’t think I’m going to pass the class. I could withdraw now without the class damaging my GPA. I feel so helpless. I try really hard but I just don’t understand it. It’s my last class too. :( Looks like no degree for me.

Thanks :) I just hope I can make the cut. It’s painful getting back a bad grade on a test. So far we’ve had 6 tests. I got an F,D,A,F,A,and F.
So that sound pretty bad. I have another test tonight and I scared!!

It is scary, but this is an issue that you can solve. Is outside help or tutoring available? Is there someone else in the class you know that you could go study with this afternoon?

There is free tutoring in the library. I’ve been going but the help they have is limited because there are other people waiting on services. Usually they can only answer two questions for each person.

Right now I can’t study because I’m at work. I’m sneaking on the internet for so help to clear my mind. I have to commit my mind to this but the little devil on my shoulder is telling me to quit. It would be much easier but what would be my reward.
The thing is, if I go through the whole course and fail my GPA would suck and I’d have to do it all over again. Right now I’m able to withdraw without a bad grade.

If it is the last class you need in order to earn your degree, why do you care if it brings down your GPA? Get more help so you can pass. You may need to hire a tutor or exchange help in math for help with a subject you know well. I used to beg the intructors to allow me to attend their lectures more than once, if they were teaching the same subject later in the day. Hearing it twice did help. It also let the teacher know what lengths I would go to in order to learn the subject. You can do it, but you must put forth whatever effort is needed.
