Are you to make a model of this object? Or, is the purpose of the assignment to learn how many parts will be needed to make a model of various objects. What object are you considering?

Well, I am not sure. You have not really given me enough information about the assignment. The class I took was about designing a model. We designed an object and formed it out of clay it so that we could create a mold out of plaster. Once we had our mold, which was not exactly an easy process, we poured material into the mold to create our final product. It was about design, more than model building. Why don’t you take your model airplane in a cardboard box so that you can reveal the model if it seems appropriate. Also take another object as a back-up. That way you will have all your bases covered.
