I really need to know where I could find earrings.
I am a male. I am getting my Cartridge pierced, as well as my eyebrow. However, I am not to famillar with this type of jeweler and I don’t really know where to begin.
For my eyebrow, Im looking for black spike of sorts. For my helix, I am not really sure. If anyone could help that would be amazing. thanks in advance.

Where were you?

Are you getting pierced in a tattoo shop?
Tattoo shops normally sell all kinds of earrings and such. If you live in the US you could check out Hot Topic too.
I am getting them pierced at a Tattoo shop, I didn’t see any at the front desk. Would they keep them on display?
I live in Canada.
Most of the time they do. Have you gone to any other tattoo shops just to see if they have earrings? Or asked the shop youre going to if they sell them?
Arent there Hot Topics in Canada?
Try Zellars, Claire’s, Ardene’s, just about any store in your local mall.
I think Claires is a little to girly for a guy. Ive never heard of Ardenes though.

Yeah, but they sell really cool stuff and might be able to recommend other stores in his area.
Yea maybe. That kinda depends on who works in the store though. Ive met some really up tight employees in Claires! lol
hmmm, I guess so. We don’t have Hot Topic in Canada, but we have places like West 49. Im not sure if they sell them. Its harder than I thought it would be.
Im definitely going to check out my local mall but if my memory serves me correct, I never really saw anything.
Thanks for the options. Very nice of you to help.

Yeah, but it can’t hurt to try.
Hey, do you drink Coke?
Ive never heard of West 49 either :[
You could always shop online. I use to know a cool site for body jewelry.
lol Nope. Ive just moved a lot, so im not so “hip” to common stores.
Hip? Okay, now I see why someone lol’d me when I said I was feeling funky the other day.
Shouldn’t I get the jewelery before I get my ears pierced? Otherwise, its just going to close up right.
No, they give you one when they peice it. That’s usually _how_ they peirce it.
Plus you shouldn’t take out the earrings for at least a month, preferably six weeks.
They give you (I think you actually pay for them) earrings when they do the piercings.
Someone lol’d funky?? Its better than saying hip!

And that’s for ear lobe piercing. Then you must wear earrings at all times for six months. For cartilidge, it’s 8 to 12 weeks, and you must wear earrings for a year.

It’s included in the price of piercing.
Yeah, they lol’d funky. (And when did lol become a verb?)
So, what about eyebrow? do they give you one for that too?
I don’t know about that, but probably. Why are you posting anon again? You already posted with your name, didn’t you/

They wouldnt pierce your eyebrow and then send you home with a hole and no earring. When you get it done theyll tell you how to take care of it and how long to leave it in before changing the ring altogether.
And I dont know about “lol”. I hate say that instead of “laugh” but it seemed suitable.
I don’t mind lol, I was just wondering why I wrote lol’d.
Where I got my ears peirced, they used a gun, so there was never the question of no earring.
Yea, when I got mine done, they used a gun. But they used a needle on my bellybutton and theyll use a needle on your eyebrow. It wont hurt though, its like a little pinch.
Yuck… I don’t like needles… I’ve heard needles feel worse for ears them guns.
meh, Im not really worried about the pain.

Needles are just the same as guns. I think for ears guns are better though, quick and simple.

Thats good to hear. Although like I said, there really is none lol
I’d like to say there was for me, all three times, so… it annoys me when people say there isn’t any.
Eeek, sorry! Mine wasnt so bad, but I guess it just varies from person to person.
I know it’s different for everyone, but I like people to be fully informed and to know all sides of the story. I have sensitive ears. I have allergic reactions to most metals and weight on my ears can bug me a lot, but I can’t be the only person like that, right?
(And I think a needle would have been worse for me because when I got a tetanus boost a few years ago, it swelled up to about the size of a quarter and bruised a ton.)
Yea, thats true. Mine ears are sensitive to metals too. I can only wear gold or they get infected, but thats only my ears. And I cant wear heavy earrings either.
(I think that had more to do with the drug that was being injected into your arm than the needle itself.)
It’s not an infection, it’s an allergic reaction. There’s a difference.
(Yeah, but needles always bug me, even when it’s just getting blood drawn.)
Try a large store, like Walmarts.
Because then you can find colored rings, going well with a matching lipstick and bra.

I cant tell if youre joking or not.. but you know hes a guy right?
Yes it was a joke.
But seriously, I never understood guy jewelry or makeup. I understand gay jewelry and makeup, if there is a gender insecurity involved.
