You are stressed out by homework? What else do you do besides go to high school? How are things at home, and with your family. How is your social life?

Don’t do it. Its not worth it. Whatever your feeling right now, it will past. School isn’t fun for nobody, but they make the best of it. Your future is in your own hands, you teachers tell you that for a reason. If you drop out of highschool, you will likely not find a well paying job and you will suffer in the future for it.

When you fall, get back up again. Thats what makes us human. If you are having trouble, seek help from a tutor. It never hurts to get help.

Explain in more detail where you are having troubles?

High school can be tough. Do you do any extracurricular activities?

Definitely do not drop out of school. Your problems do not go away just because you avoid them. High School sucks, but get through it. Life gets a lot better

You can’t control everything. What about school doesn’t go your way? The grades, or the friends?

Dont ever drop out of school. At least finish high school. Make all that fun memories like prom, winter ball, senior activities, etc.

Did you ever step back and think why nothing goes as you want it to be? If you think the world has turned its back on you, think again. Did you turn your back against the world? I’m not saying you are, but just think about it. Are you procrastinating in school? Have you asked for help in your classes? Are you spending too much time hanging out with your friends or the computer and ‘think’ you dont have time to do your hw later on? Ask yourself this and think about it long and hard…you would be surprised by the answer you’ll get.

Advice- If you do end up dropping out of school then start up a home study plan. I never finished school and I felt the same way you do now. Guess what now I am going back to adult education because I can’t even find a job. I am going to do home study and this way I can pace myself and well I have two kids so it’s a little harder. You might miss out on all the high school stuff, but at least you get a education. Good Luck!

Don’t get me wrong for I was a Asst Manager, Head Tech for slot machines, Slot supervisor, for a casino ect. Just because someone never completes school does not mean that they can’t find something as I have done. Although not having that paper saying you completed high school just shows to many employers that a person does not have discipline, which throws up many road blocks. I made $30,000.00 a year with the casino, but not having my high school diploma cost me to make double which was $60,000.00 a year as the head manager. Someone else that had a education got the manager job over me. Now if I want to go and work in Vegas or Reno and make high amounts the first thing they are going to look at is my education. If a person wants to settle for less and not have much then I would agree with you. If a person wants to earn a good living and not struggle ( ESP now days ) from payday to payday then a education is a must. As the population continues to increase so will the competitive job market. A person also has to look at the long term goal in a job with benefits & retirement. Almost all the jobs these days that have good benefits require a education. Only thing I am saying it’s a dog eat dog world now and only the top dogs will come out ahead.

Just as you have to have a license to drive..some jobs or industries have legislation with regards to education. Although you are functioning now…you have no idea what twenty years from now will bring other than remembering how you should have acquired the credentials you need as an investment or proof academically you have the skills on paper:) Example; how strong would the educational part of your resume or what would you put in on the application part of a private companies profile on you? If you think this isn’t important….stay in school. Youth and looks don’t last forever.

trust everyone on here that is telling you to stay in school….high school did totally suck but, there are many things in life that are going to suck, i figure that whatever doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger. hang in there because school shapes your future….the more education you have the better chance you have at a fulfilling career….and a brighter future.
