Nothing you could write a middle school essay about!

Whenever people through those kinds of things out at me, I am thrown for a loop.

Usually, the best thing is to just compliment something about them, and hope a story comes up about it. Then you can relate that story to something (short and witty) about you, and trade off.

If a story doesn’t come up, ask light questions about the things to do know about them. Work, mutual friends, the restaurant you are at, etc.

Good questions… ask interesting things like “Where have you always wanted to visit?” Or “If you had a year off and money wasnt a problem, what would you do?”

Questions like that show a persons morals, or passion, or something they actually want to do with their lives. Asking things like “what do you do for a job” dont tell you much and its pretty boring.

Don’t put on a act or stage anything! The most important thing is just to be yourself:) If they really like you it will not matter what you say to them. Well just don’t be rude or talk about yourself to much. Good luck!
