Hello I am wondering if anyone knows where I can get help for Christmas.

In the town/county I live in there is no Salvation army. I have asked toys for tots for help but I haven’t heard back from them yet and hopefully they will help even though i am out of there county. y husband has been out of work since July and we just went through hurricane Ike and I am worried I will let my four kids down the oldest 2 who is 10 an 8 would understand if they had to but it is my 6 and 1 yr old that stills believes in Santa. I have no family that can help. If anyone is from this area or has an idea I would be more then happy to hear it. Thank you for your time.

You say your town has no salvation army? Why not start your own branch? You could collect a pile of money, give some away, keep some and have a Merry Christmas. There’s probably a ton of people in your town who would like to give donations but just don’t have anywhere to give them. Please try it and post your results, I’d like to know if my idea worked.

you can also ask your local grocier if they would be willing to put a box out for toys, or try a boyscout branch to do a fundraiser for children. local schools love to help in these situations. or google it see what comes up.
