what happened?

yeah my mom is like that and when i ask her if she can knock she tells me no its her house. it really is irritating specailly cus im 18 in like 4 months but of course its still her house. i dont really know what to tell you since i have the same prob. sorry

no prob and i definetly feel your pain. i have been falling behind in school and am having a hell of a time catching up but i can blame no one for that but myself.

I think some parents take a while to realise their little child has grown into an adult. They probably don’t realise their actions are being obtrusive. Maybe you need to mention that you’d like a bit of more grown-up respect for yourself now. If you can get that across in a mature-like manner, I hope they might listen and understand.
