I feel really panicky today (which is unusual cause I’ve been getting better).

I’m not really sure why I feel panicky but I’m scared. The worst part is the fear…………will someone talk to me please?

Hey, I have anxiety too, even in the strangest situations where people usually feel comfortable at. Sometimes it feels really bad, I wish I could escape. But… I know I can’t always run. So, even if it scares me so much, I try to go through it anyway, whatever the outcome might be.

I was in therapy and he pretty much gave up on me because he couldn’t find medication that worked. He said he’d get someone to get ahold of me to try and do CBT and then he never called me……..My life is crumbling. I worry too much, I panic, I get stressed REALLY easily, I have trouble dealing with things……..etc.

emotions can get out of control easily sometimes, I think I know that feeling. And sometimes therapy does not work for everyone. Choose something you can do that you might like, keep doing it - just do not think about the worrying things. I can try to help you. :)

I love to read but I can’t concentrate anymore……..movies don’t distract me either….I have no friends……I’d like to have a hobby but I can’t affort to start one…..

I can’t promise anything, but I would try. and I don’t think all hobbies need things you should pay for. I take a walk a lot for myself to feel better sometimes.

yeah? I’ve been walking a lot in the last few months to try to exercise more and to lose a little weight………soon it will be too cold to walk (I can’t stand the winter cold- I freeze ALL winter)…….any other ideas?

Yeah I do…..it’s just that I find it so hard to concentrate on things when I am panicky like music, movies, reading…….

i do go through times where everything i like no longer has any effects on what i do. but that feeling later goes away. now maybe you can’t concentrate, but on another day, who knows if you can?

hobby can help, but not all the time. you don’t have to force yourself to get better anytime soon.. it will happen on its own, don’t force it too much…

I had anxiety attacks really bad after my lung collapsed. It took over a year to get over them and then my dog died and that triggered them all over again. It was hell. But, now it’s been 4 years since that incident and I’m feeling 100% better. I never get anxiety attacks anymore, I feel stronger and more equipped to face anything.

It may be difficult but I promise you it gets better! As for what to do when you’re in one, you have to catch it at the very beginning if you don’t it’s too late and you just have to go through it. But practice trying to catch it at the very onset. the first time you succeed at this you’ll feel good about it and it will help you to do it again.

Aight well I’ve bored you enough. Just remember it get’s better and even though you might not feel that way right now, neither did I … you will feel better. PS working out at the gym and playing a sport helps anything that gets you moving .. even if you’re scared to force yourself it helps A LOT!
