Well there is no fixed time it all depends upon the varying tempratures..
i.e. the temprature of the ice, water and the abient surroundings…
If all the tempratures are high i.e the ice temprature is 0c, the water is more than 0c and the ambient temprature is warmer than the water, then it will take few minuites…
but if initial temprature of the ice is very low and the temorature of the water is near 0 as well as the temprature of the surroundings, then it will take hours…
