I got my laptop free from a friend..only, he ‘accidentally’ deleted all the backup files on drive ‘D’ Now i have 30Gb going to waste.

is there a way to combine the 30Gb on ‘D’ to the existing data on ‘C’? If so, how?

I don’t see why it would be a problem unless the D drive is write protected. In which case you could just try formatting it.

C drive is currently full and i have some steam games i would like to install. So i want to get the 30Gb from D and add it to C, instead of having programs in random files all over different drives.

You could have a RAID array, bu only on a desktop or server.
