You like the rain deep oak tree , without the rain you would not be ,
The sun warms your heart and watches you grow ,
From a seedling all these things you’ve known
The tree
Hello sunshine , hellow rain, you lead me to an untouched place
A forest of deep greens, a tree tall and strong and covered in ivy
I seek shelter from the puliting rain holding my hands upagainst my face
Wiping the drops , and washing away all that must be left behind
You like the rain deep oak tree , without the rain you would not be ,
The sun warms your heart and watches you grow ,
From a seedling all these things you’ve known
How do you live for so long ? , how are you so very strong ?
Can I ever be like you a place for respite, and home for which I long?
Deep in the forest where the crickits sing the sun warms my face you bark appears to smile ,
Each crease anouther mile, My journey moves on the sun continues to shine on me the rain has gone,
and I can see in the glade that I just left a tree standing strong , a heart not undone , and a person
Walking away knowing that one day shell see that tree older ,and wiser than before so long.
