well.. absolutism differs immensly from democracy..but on the issue of free speech…hmmm

well absolutism would state that one opinion is fact whereas democracy is supposed to discuss an take into account everyones opinion.

on the issue of freedom of speech. freedom of speech cud exist in a absoulte society, but it may not take into account the opinions expressed in the speech. however, democracy would be the same..
am sorry, im a simpleton, no education higher than college level :) u can tell by my spellings…lol

would u happen to know the answer to this….
“the development of Africa as a world power would have been different if the slave trade had not existed?”

i don’t think thats a question.. sounds more as a quesiton of opinion seeing as thought the answer cannot be proved. you’ll have to argue your answer. i personally believe yes. if slave trade hadn’t existed, the people who were slaves, would be able to concentrate on building their own nation instead of the British empire etc. you would really need to read up on the slave trade and then come to a conclusion of your own :)
