scared help: HELP! - Help.com

ive got the same ones too, i think theyre the most common. are you like… majorly terrifed? ie can you deal with little money spiders, and can you go on some roller coasters but not others? or is it like total cant go to theme parks etc

i can go on veeery few rollercoasters, like log flume and thats about it, im terrifed of spiders, but im content to chase them away, or have my dad to chuck em out the house for me. If it really bothers you, just try conditioning yourself perhaps, ie next time there is a middle sized spider around just leave it be, or move it with a glass or something (if you cant do that already) and gradually you might get less scared of them and be able to cope with them better. With rollercoasters… well theyre just not some peoples cup of tea

Im scared of spiders, like heights but do get a little scared sometimes, LOVE rollercoasters because they are soo much fun :D

it needs to be repeated, recently thereve been loads of harvest spiders in my house and seemingly always in MY room, and i used to not be able to turn my light off, even after the spider had gone, but… you’ve just got to be rational with yourself, although the spider might creep the hell outta you, its pretty much harmless, yknow?

Oh i wouldnt even sleep in my room if i knew there was a bug in there that i was terrified of i.e roaches, spiders, or anyother big bug… I will leave until i think it has left

which country do you live in? and even if theyre poisonous, theyre hardly just gunna come bite you for no reason

Because they can probably lay eggs in your hair or crawl all over you while asleep

you trying to give ME more of a phobia or something? Phobias are irrational, its just the THOUGHT of it thats not nice yknow? and they probably wont lay eggs in your hair, you’re hardly the best environment yknow? and yes i know they crawl inside you, thats why i sleep with my head under the covers

My bad im suppose to be helping you not making your phobia worse lol. Well they do not lay eggs in your hair and they do not crawl all over you while you are sleeping lol

i know! but come on dont tell yourself you have reasons for your phobia, you’ve GOT to be rational about it, or you’ll never get over it. a few weeks back, there were spiders in my room EVERY NIGHT and i hardly slept for like a whole week, i had the lights on, i just… i couldnt deal with it and i dont wanna be like that anymore. and yes they can but it just makes me feel safer ok? dont ruin my brilliant idea for getting away from the spiders :( :P

LOL my bad. Im glad you at least got over your fear a little. You are better than me. Maybe next time i will think of something like that to not scared myself so much
