Can you look good in skinny jeans even if your legs are quite large?
I don’t have skinny jeans but I really like them and Im considering buying some, but Im not sure if Ill suit them.
Well, Im 5′ 2″ (approx.) and weigh around 9 stone. My thighs aren’t huge but are quite big. Do you think Id suit skinnys?
Thanks x

The next time you go shopping try them on. If you like how you look purchase them if not then dont :)
Oh try on more than one brand of skinny because one might not look right but the next might be perfect on you
Most times as a guy who loves looking at women i find that skinny jeans add well to a womans natural curves.
I’m 8st and 5′ 2″ also but I don’t wear skinny jeans, I wear straight leg jeans which are slim all the way down in very dark navy or black. I find them far more flattering on my shape (I slim except for my hips and bum). Another thing to do could be to wear shoes with a heel to elongate the legs, wedges are very comfortable to wear for everyday and stilletos are fab for the evening. What ever jeans you buy, always look at the bum when you’ve got them on and notice the pockets, if the pockets are very small or very large (like going down into your legs) it will give the illusion that your bum is huge, so go for a medium sized pocket.
If you’re in England TKMaxx is probs the best place to go and try on loads of different styles of jeans.
The most important thing to remember though is if you feel good then you’ll look good :)
I dont know, to me skinny jeans only tend to be flattering to those who resemble a pole. For people who are a bit heavier in the thigh region, sometimes the bootleg style pants are more flattering, as they give a more all over proportioned look. They are kind of tighter at the tops, tappering to a wider leg at the bottoms
Plus where im from girls, big or small, wear skinny jeans. Just dont get them too tight if you are a little big in the stomach region because it makes you look small at the bottom but huge at the top.
you know the darker the colour of your jeans the skinnier they will look
personally i think it dont matter what size you are
if you feel like you can carry them of then you go for it :)

She’s clealy not a big girl though, she’s only 9 stone.
Just listen to my first advice. No one on this site can tell you how you will look in them but you and a friend. So go have fun and try on some skinny jeans with your friends and buy the one(s) that compliments you the most
Hey everyone :)
Thank you all so much for your replies!
I understand that you can’t give me an exact answer without seeing me, but you have given me a general idea.
I think I will go to a few shops and maybe try some on.
One of my friends is the same height as me but is ever so slightly thinner + she looks ace in skinnys so I think Ill take her along with me and ask for advice.

Thanks all again :)

Have fun and come back with a great pair of skinnys :D. Shoot all this talk about skinny jeans i might go and get me some today :)
Take an honest friend with you and try some on, Ive got some skinnies but its how you wear them to, if you think you look to big on the butt/bum and thighs, try wearing them with one of those long sweaters and tucked into a pair of boots.
There is ways to wear them that will look good on you, my theory is, if you don’t feel good in them, then choose something else. :-)

My friend that I was talking about in my post (who I said looks great in skinnys..) is very honest and I trust her to tell the the truth, so I will take her with me.
I like you theory btw (if you don’t feel good in them, then choose something else) - its good :)
