It depends on what you’re being honest about. If it’s just to hurt someone, no. It’s all about the motives.

of course i never mean any pain. my intent is to be clear for understanding. communication is important. it just seems to blow back in my face, like being punished for saying anything. i don’t know. i just get this feeling that men like to go in caves and women like to gather and talk.

is being silent better than being honest?

Some people are very opinionated and feel they have to offer their views on personal subjects whether they’re asked or not. Generally, these people are emotionally and socially retarded and don’t have a lot of friends or relationships. Let discretion and good judgment be your guide.

some guys are more sensitive than others. lying to them saves them from pointless pain.

are opinions true always?
i think true honesty is when it is for the good of the whole.
but then when you act upon that notion and then it gets misinterpreted, it’s so frustrating!

Machiavellian thoughts could be applied here…

As long as it leads me to where I want to go, I’ll take both if I’ve to….

But if I’ve the opportunity to chose, I’d pick honesty…but there isn’t always a choice…

You should always be honest. However, sometimes it is best to keep your opinions to yourself unless asked. Some people are just bad at taking constructive feedback.

opinions are not honesty.

opinions are individual versions of honesty.

true honesty is when it applies to a larger picture not just self fulfilling.
