Thought help: I’m a very envious person - Help.com

I’m a very envious person

When ever I see people with things I desire or get something I want I become really cruel. I will spend the rest of my day pissed off at the world telling myself how much I deserve that and how the that person should get nothing. I get really violent thoughts in my head I’m going insane I’m normally very calm and gentle but for the past few months when ever something doesn’t go the way I want it to I become extremely violent …and its not just thoughts anymore

It is actually normal to feel jealous of what others have especially if you are feeling down or bad about yourself. Talking about how you feel could make the violent feelings lessen. What you need to do is focus of what makes you happy to hell with other people. Finding a counselor to talk to could help also.
