A taste of freedom.

Hello. I live in the UK, I’m 21 years old and I feel like my life is stagnating. I’m bored of my life where I am, I’m growing to hate my two-faced friends and I just want to leave quietly and quickly, what is the best way of going about this?

How? I have no qualifications, no passport, no nothing. The only thing that keeps me sane at the moment is the thought of a quick escape, but your suggestion sounds like it would talk a lot of time and middle class cash. I have neither of these, I’m working class, and thus, working class money. (i.e none at all)

No, I was kicked out of college when I was seventeen for my behaviour. Now that I’m 21, I can’t afford to go into further education.

No, all of my family that are still alive and stay in contact with live in this town. Basically, just my sister. Amanda, that’s sound advice, but I’ve already thought of it. Getting a job in this town is getting harder by the day so the chances of me saving enough to relocate are slim to none. I know it sounds somewhat childish, but I just want to run away. I want to escape this hellhole and live my life elsewhere, but so far I’ve found no organizations or websites that could help me to do this.

Dear Anonymous,

Try going to the country side on shoe string budget. See if you can get any and i mean any work.. like truck washing, or working in fields.. that will be only so you can get some food there..

Just wander around for sometime.. and in this meanwhile, just think about what do you want out of life..

Running away is no solution. You are a mature person of 21 years old. Everybody who has been born, is born with a purpose. You may not be aware of it right now.. and at right time you will be aware of it. Now that right time can come today or it can come after years.

So dont run from the purpose for which you have been born. And believe me you will feel fulfilling and content once you understand purpose of your life.

Would suggest you to join some spiritual organisation. I have said spiritual.. not religious.

You can learn meditation, which may help you in giving you clarity about your own life.
