Im sat here in the school library…
And ive been told to come up with an idea for A level english, for a piece of coursework that’s intended for a listening audience. Many people in my class are doing a monologue or script (very old fashioned) on the theme of entrapment, so prisoner of war, kidnapping, or lifeless marriage. I however have chosen the theme of dystopia purely because i dont enjoy, or find shakespeare very easy, and by doing the theme ive chosen, i dont need to do shakespeare, i need to do “1984″ the George Orwell novel.
It would ideally have to be based on dystopia, but i already have some ideas in mind for the content, i just need to find a good way to portray it, so e.g monologue, script blaa blaaaa.
So any ideas? and if anyone suggests a podcast can they explain what exactly one is.
thanks
