Why where you charged with possession; are you underage? If you are underage it doesn’t matter if you are drunk or not; or if you have been drinking or not. Having alcohol in your car is illegal. Since it is your car they assume it’s yours they have no other way of operating, they can’t read peoples minds. If it was not yours, it is still your responsibility to make sure its not in your car.

If you are an alcoholic; then you may need to seek help outside of your self to kick the habit. Find a support group.

If your not an alcoholic, but are afraid you may one day become one. Then I would stop hanging out in places or with people where drinking is expected. If you aren’t there then you can’t drink.

If you were able to be with your friends while they were drunk, then I really don’t think you have a problem. If you had a problem you probably would have had some anyway and driven. You did a pretty **** good job staying away from alcohol last night. It sucks being sober when your friends are gone. Haha. If you wanna stay away, then just stay away. You have will power. I don’t know anything about getting pulled over with that.

Your underage?

If you can afforded a lawyer then I would get one. But the out come is going to be the same in any case. There is not much wiggle room.
