i need to loose atleast 15 pounds!

does anyone know how i can quickly loose the weight and still keep it off? im 15 5′6 and 130. about a year ago i quit swimming which i did 8 times a week and have gained about 15 pounds. i feel so chubby and gross. and im sick of feeling self conscious. help meeeee pleaseeeee!

Eat 5-6 small meals a day (make sure they’re balanced, i.e. protein, fibre, vitamins, carbs where they’re supposed to be). Do at least 30 minutes of cardio every other day. Drink only water or sugarless drinks. Stay away from deep fried foods. 5-6 small meals is very important as it boosts your metabolism (increases the rate at which you burn calories) as well as the 30 minutes of cardio. I heard that if you only drink sugarless drinks and water that you can lose 10 pounds pretty quick. If you even do a bit of weight training you will probably lose even more (if you’re a girl do light weights with lots of reps). Also if you’re worried about putting on muscle because you’re a girl you won’t because you need to eat a LOT of calories to put on muscle, and muscle actually weighs less than fat. So if you burn fat and put on muscle you’ll actually be lighter. Eat at least 1-2 hours before going to bed to allow your food to digest. If you eat right before sleeping your body absorbs it slower and may just store that food away cuz of inactivity.

I so need to lose weight too I have been doing the 5-6 meals a day thing and I only drink water, you need to excercise to. Try something fun with a friend. I have just started learning how to Jive and been to a couple of boxercise classes and I’m starting Jazzercise too. There isn’t quick fix I’m afraid you need to work hard at it. Like anything in life
