A good example of empathy is when…well heres an example. Say your friends dad died. If you feel bad for them, then you’re empathetic.

That’s sympathy. Empathy is the ability to understand what they’re going through by putting yourself in their shoes or if you’ve been there before.

Empathy is the ability to feel anothers pain. All of the above are great examples :)

Think of a time where you were with a friend and shared in their pain.
