I really wish the end would come.
We are all doing a great job aren’t we, as humans. Still using fossil fuels, cutting people off in traffic, lying, cheating, stealing, coercing others to follow dogmatic principles, consuming and creating the most unhealthy food possible, creating more efficient ways to end life, believing everything we read, see, and listen too. We are never going to get it right. Is that why so many of us believe in a mythical entity? Becuase we truly don’t have faith in humans to solve our own problems we pray for someone or something else to fix it. Truly pathetic. Missionary work claims to be the work of god. Does god truly want people to suffer? All religion does is perpetuate suffering. If no one suffered we would not need religion. If people did not have a fear of death and the unknown then we would not need religion. Religion is needed because people are inherently weak and see no realistic answers to our problems. We make up perfect beings without flaw who will miraculously come and save us. Was it not a perfect flawless being that created us, obviouly not, because we are flawed. How could something so perfect create something wich is not. We have truly given up responsibilty as humans to solve all the problems we have created. Before humans, chaos reigned and it was perfect. In our attempt to make order out of chaos, what good have we really done?

Good post, we all need someone to blame when things go wrong,”It was Gods will”
When someone is told a someone is dying “we’ll pray for you”(dont know what else to say)
Mr X committed Adultry…went to the confession box all was forgiven.
Yep we all need someone to blame and a higher power to put right our wrongs. :=)
You think exactly like I do. The only difference is, I know we are capable of change. Take your anger, well frustration with life, and turn it. Make people listen, show them that they have their own voice too by simply letting yours be heard.
I hope you are being sarcastic, something that doesn’t tranlate well over the internet.Anonymous wrote:

Were humans, we are not here to make the meaning of living perfect. We will fail time and times who knows, maybe if we all put the meaning together and really look beyond perfection then just maybe we are just trying to look for something else more bigger then perfection. We are humans, if we have nothing to lose then how do have something to gain then. Mistake is what makes us a better person, the more we make the more we learn from it. It way of saying “We can learn from everyone, even our adversaries.”–unknown :)
“the more we make the more we learn from it.” What have we learned from all the genocide each generation continues to cause. We have the answers we just don’t care because deep down we all know there is no final judgement just dog eat dog.
The people who hold power in this world can do whatever they want because no outside force is going to punish them and force them to share their power with everyone.

Mistake is mistake, everyone of us will make it once in awhile even though if you don’t agree with it or do. What are we to say we never make it “Mistake” time by time. Then we are fooling ourself. To us we dig for answers but, do we really want to know the answers behind it all. To question one human begin is to question yourself that question.

Jeez, you always know how to brighten my day… Same dude, same post, same beef. We get it, you think people suck. ‘Kay.
everybody is unique everybody has the right to do and believe in whateer they want and you have nothing to do with it , so if the grnral population dont have the same believe as you it doesnt mean you are wrong nor right but this is what makes you , you …. so instead of judging ppl for what they believe just love them for who they are…
Hey there - here’s my first report on what we were talking about in the other post (below).
“I have a suggestion - let’s both try something. I don’t know what time zone you’re in, but it’s about bedtime where I am. Tomorrow, let’s try and say something nice and/or greet everyone we encounter throughout the day. Either on the elevator, at work , at a store, wherever. Let’s see what reaction we get. Then let’s compare notes on how it went tomorrow evening on this post. Let’s see how the people we come across react. Sound like something to try?”
Remember how I said it would be a little test of whether faith in people can be restored or justfied, as opposed to faith in humanity as a whole? Well, my results have been good so far this morning with 3 people responding very well to my individual effort to reach out. Had one person respond “neutrally,” but a 3-1 ratio is pretty good so far I think.
And you know what else? It’s the individuals in our lives that make life worth living. I think about my husband, my daughter, a few close friends and family members, and that’s who makes it worthwhile. If I had to rely on my faith in humanity as a whole or group, I might very well feel like you describe in your post. So, tell me live4what?0, do you have anyone you’re close to? If not, it’s in your power to change that.
“So, tell me live4what?0, do you have anyone you’re close to? If not, it’s in your power to change that. ” NO and Never.
Only to get more people to read it.Yewdale8 wrote:

I know your account was deactivated, live4what?0, but just in case you’re still checking this post, I just wanted to let you know that it is true that it’s in your power to change being alone. You can put yourself out there. I acknowledge that doing so is a risk, but it’s a risk that makes it all worthwhile, I promise. I know from reading some of your other replies and things that you were dealt a tough hand - I get that. I can’t imagine what you’ve been through to put you where you are now. But you are the one person with the most control over your future, whether you believe it or not.
“I can’t imagine what you’ve been through to put you where you are now.” It’s not that bad, I was never abused, just emotionally neglected. Growing up with an older sister that was always mean to me only made it worse. That’s where most of my hate stems from. Family.
Hi, sorry if Im repeating myself but it might help to see God and religion as the separate things they are. I only know God as a friend and parent first.I too question the suffering at times but I also know worry and to worry about such things Im unable to understand or do anything directly about is 1, not trusting in my creator, sort of an non-respect thing and it causes undue stress on the worrier. I think if a person has faith, the stronger the faith, the stronger the trust in our creator becomes and that lessens our burden of worry. And theres always doing our own individual, small but important part in doing what we can that helps humanity as a whole.. Ill invite some people for more help in this.
If you can’t trust your family then who can you trust.

“Can’t celebrate till we elevate”. Those words came from a track by the wu-tang clan.
This is why I have a problem with humanity itself as a single entity. We are all individuals that form as a collective consciousness. We are all connected. Being connected to me means that if one part suffers, all suffer. A lot of the celebrating going on today is just a means to turn a blind eye on all the real problems that plague us. If some have it so good, why can’t all. Until everyone gets to enjoy their time in the sun, all the fun a few of us are having should settle down for awhile.

i used to think like that, but trust me, it will get you nowhere. To realize our family members our merely humans, fallible, with weakness(es) and imperfect as the next guy,and us may help you to see them clearer. they also just like us have regrets, the same feelings, wants and desires .maybe there was a time when someone you looked up to disappointed you, this would explain your thinking in this. We can take it internally as a hurt or see itand them as reality, to see it as a reality is a healthy attitude……..as for the statement you made -’A lot of the celebrating going on today is just a means to turn a blind eye on all the real problems that plague us.’ yes, in a way your right, it SEEMS as though they, me included, choose not to see the ugliness going on, but thats the only way for some to handle it, afterall it is very overwhelming and we are only hunman, capable of taking in so much. Just because I dont watch the ugliness on the news doesnt mean I dont care, i care a great deal.and the statement on -’If some have it so good, why can’t all’ we can all have peace with it, thats what the good book is for, to live everyday life as happy as possible.

I’m glad to hear you say that, and you’re absolutely right. And that’s why we can’t just throw our hands up in disgust and give up. You and I and everyone of us owe humanity our best efforts. And we start that by being kind to one another and by building each other up instead of tearing each other down, even in the face of hostility. And even when those who should have been good to us weren’t. To do anything less makes you part of the problem. You as an individual can make a difference. Can you alone end poverty or greed or solve the larger world’s problems? Of course not, none of us can do it by acting alone, but we can make a difference to those people we encounter with our attitude towards them.
That was a quote at the top of my last reply - when I edited down I must have deleted something I wasn’t supposed to - sorry ’bout that!

We don’t do good or bad… we just destroy that which is not ‘us’. I say F’it… at some point in our evolutionary history, ants were legitimate competition for our resources. They’d have snuffed us out if they’d had the upper hand. So, we destroy, maim, kill, and reproduce. Sounds like we are fulfilling our genetic imperatives.
Oh, and yes… we will poison the earth. But so what? If we unleashed all of our trash, toxins, poisons, biological weapons, and nukes all at the same time… we couldn’t destroy the planet. Even global warming can’t kill the planet… it can certainly kill us, but that’s fair play. We messed with it first… and it’s cleaning us out early, before we can become a legitimate threat… thus the planet survives and we do not.
:)
Now where’s that bottle of Jack?
Wishing doesn’t make it so. It is God’s timing, not yours:).
God is not a being. Man is only an image of his creator. I like flaws, I don’t like perfect, life is interesting because it is not perfect. I like weeds, I like big noses, raspy voices, crazy laughter, wicked humor… People make choices that are not perfect. Isn’t it comical that women are imitating dolls (Barbie’s) as a perfect image (breast implants, nose jobs, butt implants…:)? God allows suffering because it is our choice as a human race to genetically modify our food sources (even though the Bible says not to), people pollute their bodies and ultimately genes with chemicals (unnatural or not biodegradable) which destroys as well as treats/masks their symptoms, people, not God pollute the “Mother” Earth and themselves. The media (all media, television, newspapers…have you ever questioned what their motive is? Control.) The media promotes fear which leads to chaos, which needs to be controlled:) LMFAO:). “Fear” is not of the Lord, the only thing God ever tells his people to “Fear” is him! Men need to listen to God and not other men of greed, charm, and lies.
You don’t want any part of organized religion/groups, yet, you speak like you are a spokesperson for a group (we, we, we,…). I think you need to become an independent thinker/leader or learn how to be part of a flawed human race.
So, you think that the media is secretly trying to control people through fear… and this is evil.
But God is openly controlling people through fear… and this is good.
Do the means justify the ends?
‘The media’ wants us to - Recycle, use less energy, don’t waste water, stop killing people.
God wants us to - Kill people, burn witches, give him money.
Besides, according to Jesus you have to be a Jew before you can be a Christian. He accepted that Gentiles were not to be killed out of hand, but as per tradition could live among God’s chosen people as beloved slaves. It wasn’t until Paul was hard up for cash and started soliciting donations from the Galatians that Gentiles were accepted as Christians (this is after the death of Jesus). This move was very controversial, and many of the other apostles openly criticized Paul for abandoning Jesus’ requirements for Christianity.
I’m not Jewish, thus according to Jesus I cannot be a Christian… unless that is I accept Paul’s interpretation (criticised by the other apostles, and not practiced by Jesus) that if I have enough money and am willing to give it to the church as the agent of God’s will on earth… then I can be accepted.

You obviously don’t know Mr. Cor de Lyon. Please don’t be too quick to judge.
And good luck trying to convince Live4What that things aren’t so bleak. But be careful not to loose your sanity in the process.
Submitting to a deity will not solve the problems humans have created for ourselves. Belief in “GOD” is so flawed. You only believe that he is a savior and not a destroyer as well. If you believe god created everything then that means he created evil as well as good and continues to let them co-exist.
All hope is not lost… we have created plentiful and amazing ways of manufacturing and consuming alcoholic beverages! I say we focus on that as the meaning of our existence.
“Behold the rain which descends from heaven upon our vineyards, there it enters the roots of the vines, to be changed into wine, a constant proof that God loves us, and loves to see us happy.” -Benjamin Franklin

I would like to take exception to that, if I may, because submitting to Gods way, will bring the answers that we seek, as human beings. And the only flaw in this, is ones own lack of understanding on the subject.Yes, evil and good do continue to co-exist, as you say, and as we all know, however, the good news is that it will not always be this way, one day, when the allotted time has come, evil will be done away with.
And Christians believe that day is fast approaching.
It will be a great day for the believer…. a day he/she has longed for, with intensity.
The bad news is, that anyone who loves iniquity, will not be a happy camper. Today is the day of salvation, hearden not your hearts. Whosoever calls upon the Son of God, shall be saved. Hope to see you there !!!!
I hate you all!!!
