I was wondering about my ring…

I recieved it from the person I am comitted to in a relationship, as a sort of pre-engagement ring. It means a lot to both of us, but it was purchased with a small budget. Now we have enough money, but I was wondering if it was possible to melt this one down, separate it in half, add some new metal, and compose two brand new rings out of it?

sure. that is easily possible. but, could in fact be more expensive, then selling this one, and buying two new ones. Ask the juwelerist.

I think it’s the specialness though that the poster is mainly concerned about?

lol, if I had a special ring, I wouldn’t be throwing into the melting pot.

I agree with you Lucif. Cheaper to buy new rings
