Is it real
Or a specter of my imagination
The feelings ring true
Ah, but in my mind there brews doubt

Are there such things as angels
Gossamer wings and beautiful things
Or are they a creation of the devil who taunts me
Needs that feed, the guilty pleasures we partake
Are there such things as angels?

Short and sweet. I like this very much. My father often said to me poetry was the filling of the least words with the most meaning. I do not know if that knowledge originated with him; regardless, I think you did just that.
