Bridal Shower

Ok, so my sister is getting married in a month. Technically I’m only a bridesmaid but the maid and honor and I have been working together. And since she isn’t local, and I am I have taken on a lot of the responsibilities of maid of honor. So, as you could probably figure, this bridal shower means a lot to me. I’m in charge of the invites and I am really, really busy right now. The shower is on the 25/26 of this month. (one’s for family, one’s for friends) I’m sending the invitations out first thing tomorrow morning. Is this too late? Like do you think people will be angry. Oh, and if you live in another state would you expect to get an invite, just because you’re related. The “in-law” family expected me to send like 20 out of state people an invite. I did of coarse, but I don’t understand why I needed to. We know they’re not coming to the shower, why do they need to be invited? As you can tell, this is the first wedding I’m involved in, I’m a little stressed! :)

i know … its all so crazy, isn’t it!?

i have had this duty before. people just like to save those invites for keepsakes, and they send gifts even when they don’t come. so that is why you invite out of state people.

it is not too late… it is just in time. make sure to get them in the mail tomorrow!

and good luck :)

they want you to send them out to in-laws because if you don’t the in-laws will feel left out. Chances are they won’t travel out of state for it, and they’ll just mail a gift or call and say congrats. BUT if you don’t send them an invite, you’ll definitely hear a ton of moaning about it. It stinks, but that’s how it works.

It’s not to late, just mail them asap :O)

Well, I hope my side of the family doesn’t all expect invitations. Because I really don’t have that kind of time or energy! lol

Send an e-vite (online invite) to people…if you can get their email addresses. Or call them, tell and talk to them on the phone—-
