I need dating site advice…

I’ve been trying out a dating site recently, and I’ve been in contact with a number of girls. We’ll send emails back and forth, and seem to get along, etc.

But I don’t know what to do from there… because it seems like whenever I ask them out for a drink, they get weirded out and don’t respond. I’ve also asked if they wanted to chat on AIM to get to know each other better, and most of them dont have AIM, or they get weirded out and don’t respond.

What the hell am i doing wrong? Am I supposed to keep emailing them forever?

I usually chat with a girl for few days, but then I ask for her phone number. If she wants only to chat online - better leave her alone, and don’t waste your time!

I am sweet, thoughtful, kind, and have a great sense of humor. I am very easy going and laid back. I am often told that I am very easy to talk with. I am not an angry person, and I am not interested in someone that is. Having past events shape your life is one thing, carrying the past as a burden that sits heavily upon your shoulders is not the way I view life.
