How do i find my LAN (IP?

) Address? Im trying to forward my port and the Server IP address that i must fill out says it requires an LAN? Dont really know what that is and definately dont know how to find it :P. Thanks

go to START on the bottom left of your computer screen, then go to “RUN” then type CMD in the RUN box and press enter, a small black screen will come up, thats called the command prompt, there type ipconfig /all then press enter, there will be some information. If the information there doesnt help let me know then we can try something else.

ok awesome that worked thanks so much, but am i looking at the Default Gateway, or Connection Specific? Thsoe are the 2 addressess that came up

There you can see the default gateway, your ip address, DHCP Server address, DNS Servers, and your subnet mask. And yes it is connection specific. Specific to your network adapter. If your using a wired connection, then in the command prompt you can see the information for that connection, if youre using wireless then you can see information for that connection, all in the command prompt.

I forwarde my port (i think) and tried to download the patch for the game again. In the log it still says failed to downloag? oh well, thanks alot for your help tho! now i know how to somewhat work this thing :P
