Retired Engineer with wealth of knowledge would like to start a web page to help people find solutions to homeowner problems.

The fee to users would be minimal and would really benefit seniors and low income homeowners. Does anyone think this would be a valuable service to the community at large?

or will give How-to advice?

If the latter why would I pay you minimal free for something I could most likly find else where for free?

Do seniors use computers in this manner?

I would respond to requests to visit their home, suggest solutions, possible contractors and help sort out quotes.

So a Mr-Fixit type company. Yes I have seen these around, I assume people use them.

I am talking about a service to those most in need. Almost a volunteer job.
I would want my costs covered.
