I need help with my math homework, ok Find the mean, meadian, and mode for each set of data.

Tound to the neatest tenth if necessary. Problem 1: 40,41,41,41,43,43,44,44,44,44,45,47,49,49,49,50. For tis problem use the line plot. It shows the number of times per day that students drink from the water fountain at school. 7-12,
8-4,
9-2,
10-7,
Problem 2: Find the meadian, mean, mode.
Problem 3: Which measure best describes the data? Explain.
Please, please, please help I’m so screwed if I don’t get this done.

mean is the average of all the numbers
mode is the one that appears most among the numbers
median is the middle

work it out hon! use Screech’s advise and work through the problems you’ll have in done in ten minutes if you just think about it for a minute..

average: add them all together and divide by the amount of numbers.
Mode: which one comes up most often?
Median: find lowest and highest and work out the middle one…

come on it’s not that hard :)

Well,
The mean is the sum of all the data divided by the number of data points.
the median or the mode is the middle most value.
and the other is the most common value.
