Your arm is going numb because you are losing too much blood from that area. The same as when your arm falls to sleep during sleep, when you lie the wrong way, cutting off the circulation of blood.

If you cut enough, and you don’t keep a good circulation of blood in your arm, it could possibly lead to gang green, and the arm will need to be amputated.

Your arm is probably in shock or maybe you cut through a few nerves and it has deadened the feeling to it..

Cutting is very self destructive. Yes, I know, that is obvious. Apprently however, it is not obvious to you. It’s like who smoke, they are damaging themselves but they don’t see it that way. What are you afraid of? What fear does your cutting help you cope with? What do you think about when you cut? Think about that.

And yes, the tingling in your arm could reflect nerve damage. Cutting is very damaging. The body can only repair the same tissue over and over so many times before the mechanism begins to break down.
