a happy thing.
yesterday i finished up a project for which i was paid $500.00 for. it was paid in cash and i placed it neatly into my wallet and into my basket. i left my friends house through the alley way - because the project was done in her back yard. so naturally, i parked back there and left that way.
about two hours later i get a call from my car insurance company asking me if i had lost a wallet.
i say no but immediately rifle through my basket. it isn’t there. so the insurance lady gives me the number of the person that called it in, and it happened to be a worker that was cleaning up the alley that found it.
i retrieved it, bought the guy some beer because that is all he asked for…
i drank a beer with a bunch of mexican landscape workers after a day at work… and i made $500… that no one stole!
