But recently I’ve been reasearching a lot about the Romanovs (last royal family of Russia) and I was kind of struck today, for the first time, about how TRAGIC the whole thing is. Especially the deaths of the five children. They didn’t really have a chance to grow up, even though the 2 oldest died older than 18. The children didn’t even do anything wrong. And maybe Nicholas was a bad ruler, but he wasn’t a bed person, either. Neither was his wife. I don’t know, I was just thinking about it today and I got sad. I hope people always remember them.
Anyone know what I’m talking about?? Lol :D

Yeah, I know history is bloody. People obviously didn’t like them. I know that the aristocracy dying is usually just a part of war. But pardon me, I happen to find the deaths of the four innocent children just a little disturbing, Xeno Dragon.

Of course millions of people have died in wars throughout history! I don’t like war at all (who does?) and I always think death in wars to be extremely sad. I’m just focusing on this one family’s death.

But I’m really, really sorry I’m being rude to you. This just makes me kind of sad and it got me thinking. So I’m really sorry :)

Lol. Trust me, I’ve seen far worse. I can tell you’re just passionate about this, not angry at me. And there’s no reason to be either way. Because I agree with you, it sucks. However, there are more current, and far more severe problems that you can actually do something about.

I’d LOVE to do something about all these awful, current problems. There’s nothing I want to do more. But I’m just 14 so I have no idea what I COULD do. I don’t feel like I can do anything, really.

No, not giving money. I mean volunteer work, right in your own city. There are easily hundreds of starving, dying, and/or homeless kids in your zip code if you live anywhere near a major area.
