friends help: I am a senior in highschool. - Help.com

I am a senior in highschool.

I really like this girl. We’ve been somewhat dating (no relationship or anything) for a couple months and talking for a little while longer. We’ve hooked up but not really gone any farther. We have both shared our feelings with eachother and both really like eachother but agree that her life is too busy right now (school, sports, stress etc.) to start a relationship at least untill her season ends.
Recently, it seems that she has been trying to avoid me, at least that is the sense that I have been getting. She has not answered my calls and everytime where we normally see eachother in the halls I just get a brief smile and she ducks away quickly. She is often with this other guy that I know she is good friends with and she has shared with me before how he is jealous of me because he likes her.
DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW I SHOULD HANDLE THIS?

talk with her
there are plenty of reasons for the way she is acting: she may be shy around you, nervous about getting in a relationship….
or she might be trying to let you down gently…
or there might be some other reason why she’s acting the way she is so ask her
