Well I’m 15..
and i play rugby..
Looking to lose weight (13 stone) & gain muscle & get fit.
To lose weight, less carbs & fatty foods, more fruit, veg & exercise.. which I think I can handle
but gaining muscle & getting fit.. because I’m a prop in rugby atm, because of my considerable bulk, but would be much more suited to flanker or no. 8, I feel but due to my weight I am played as prop.
To gain fitness & muscles.. I play 1 hour minimum of football a day & 20 minutes jogging, which will be increased, every day. I also use 5kg dumbbells, do punchbag work & sit-ups, jack-knives etc..
Is a weights bench a good idea, with 40kg weights, to help me gain muscle..?
& any ideas on a suitable exercise regime, which can include running, boxing, rowing & free weight training?
