Week help: kennel cough - Help.com

kennel cough

my dog had the spray/mist vaccination for kennel cough just last week. and now she is acting like she has kennel cough!! my vets office is closed until monday or else i would have taken her today.

i know that sometimes when people get a flu vaccination they come down with mild flu-like symptoms afterwards, is this happening to my dog?

also…. should i worry about getting sick from her? she sneezed in my face right when i was taking a big breath in.. and i pretty much breathed in all her sneeze :[ yuckkkk!

thanks for any information.

lol.. No, dogs can’t tranmit to humans that I’m aware of only to others dogs. My dog had kennel cough and was given the antibiotic *AMOXICILLIN* Your dog should be fine. Takes awhile to take hold. Call your vet on mon. If you still have concerns … :D

I’d call first thing Monday morning just to make sure though.

Hi, My dog had the kennel cough spray on 6-9-2009. She developed a cough and flem this morning, June 18th. I have an appointment this sfternoon to see what is going on. Makes a person wonder if the spray can give them a reaction at this later date.
