I have a car problem.

I have a 2000 beetle, and im $1,800 away from paying it off. The Throttle body is ****** up, and it costs $850.00 to get it fixed. not to mention that i already had spent $200.00 to get it fixed the first time and it didnt get fixed.

so the dilema is wether to spend those 800.00 to get it fixed, and hope that it gets fixed for good,

or

getting rid of the car, buying a new car, but then again my credit its not so good. its around 630.

any help?

630 is not that bad of a credit score. but why do you want another car loan? why not just fix it and use it..

Don’t go to the mechanic and say “replace this or that” go and say, this is the problem with my car, I want it fixed. Since you’re taking it in for service for that very problem, you will have paperwork/reciepts that say:

Problem: Rpms go up and down Diagnosis: etc etc

$200.00 _________john___doe_______________________-

etc.. So basically if they perform service on the car for problem A, and problem A isn’t fixed, then you can go get a lawyer if you suspect that the work they did was unrelated to your problem.

If they don’t fix the problem that you pay them to, then they are stealing your money. Get a lawyer.

Nothing, because the lawyer would also sue for his costs.
