Child Care Question…

I am doing a project for a business class and I am creating day care center. My question for you is:

If you had found a 24 hr daycare center, what would you want it to have that other centers don’t? What kind of prices would you like to see? What features wold be very appreciable by you such as pick up and drop off of your child?

Please give detailed answers if possible.

If I was going to take my children to this facility my first priority would be safety of the location. I don’t want to have to drive at 3am through an area that I could be harmed. or leave my kid there and be worried that someone could come in from the outside and cause trouble.I also want the staff to be background checked and I would need some sort of monitoring system so that I could check things out when i’m at work or whatever. I beleive that if you pay for great service you will get it so I would’nt mind paying 200 or more a week for the well being of my kids.At this price I would need to know that my kid is learning and not watching movies and sleeping all day. so I would like to see some pencils, paper, books and a desk. Please also add good air filter system. I hate the fact that most daycare centers smell like ***.:0)

as a prior daycare provider myself, i know that costs are out rageous, but you do have to remember that this is a living for us and also there is a lot of stress and work that comes along with this job. its non stop work for how ever many hours you take care of each child. dont get me wrong, it is fun and rewarding as well… but really, it is a lot of work and every dime paid is soooooooooo worth your child being cared for by someone who is great with your children..

with the daycare that i owned, i had a lot of stuff, tons of toys in the backyard as well as toys in the house… learning games and other learning things etc

tons of crafts and even a movie time in which they all relaxed for an 1 hour.. (smaller children)
