well its a young one and its injured kind of. It wont open its eyes and its not that small to have his eyse shut.

It sounds like this poor bird needs some specialist help. Unfortunately, birds are very delicate creatures and any stress can be fatal. Sometimes, their instinct is to “pretend” to be dead so that they get left alone by predators.

Here’s the best thing to do:

Find a cardboard box with a lid and line it with something soft. Make sure you make some air holes in the lid.

Put the bird in very gently and keep it in the dark away from noise, pets, smoke… somewhere warm.

Now you need to locate a bird sanctuary or a an animal welfare clinic nearby and get the bird to them if you can. We might be able to help you track one down if you want.
