What is this world coming to?

I’m a republican and I’m hearing these awful stories about Obama fans harassing and even abusing McCain fans.

1. A girl had 2(!!) bumper stickers on her car supporting McCain and a bunch of kids at her school ripped them off and put Obama stickers all over her car…even on the paint!!

2. A girl was in the hallway at school and a bunch of kids started hitting her and pushing her until they all gained up on her and shoved her in a corner. They said, “If you’re voting for McCain, then this is where you belong.” The teacher saw the whole thing and told the girl that she did belong there because of her poor choice.

3. I was walking down the street today carrying McCain signs to put in my yard and a man stopped on the side of the road and started cussing me out and telling me I should be ashamed of myself. All I said was thanks.

These are examples that just happened recently in my town.
If you are a democrat, I’m not judging you, however, your fellow Obama-supporters are not painting a very good picture for your candidate…

Its sad that this country has come to this….

I’ve seen many of the same things on the other side of the fence.

THere are 300 million people in the USA. A few stories don’t add up to much. Some people are jerks. It doesn’t matter which party they belong to, they’ll still act like jerks. It doesn’t prove anything in particular other than the fact that… yes those particular people are jerks.

People are stuck in the Malcolm X black panther way of thinking; they see the tint of color to his skin and his passion and are associating with ye olde history lessons of first of all the traditional views as “colored people” being 3/4 human and therefore more animal-like. Since the beginning of the campaign people have misinterpreted Obama’s messages as something more direct and violent i.e. two close minister friends
The trouble with all of this is that the misinterpretation combined with Bush’s horrendous rule has people following the democratic party after having developed a mistrust in the republican party and that is what leads to these occurrences- that being a little ignorance and brainwash..

All you’ve really proved here is that a bunch of idiots live in your town.

Hmmmm, maybe it has something to do with the fact that the Democratic party is not only more compassionate, but is much better at handling the economy. Anybody who was an adult during the Clinton years knows that the economy has only been prosperous during his tern in the 30 years. Why is the economy always so bad under Republican rule. I have supported Obama from the moment he said he was running for President and it has nothing to do with his color.

Yes there are stupid people everywhere, even amoung Obama supporter, but nothing is worse than the racist and hatred that goes on at the McCain rallies right in front of McCain and Palin’s faces. I think many Democrats fear that people voting for McCain are falling into the fear factor and ignorance trap. Like I said on your other post if you have valid policy reasons for supporting McCain than you have the right to do so, but if it is due to fear and believing lies than you need to educate yourself. It is clear that more hatred is coming from the losing side (McCain) than the side that is currently leading (Obama).

I agree, I am actually all for the Democratic party (maybe I didn’t make that clear in my farfetchedness). Anyway, what I said before was a joke against ignorant people in general. My name is Kevin Dani and I do not support McCain and evil Republican mind control. ^^
