i need help with some maths homework :(

Here’s the question:
Two forces, P and Q, act on a particle at the origin O. Force P acts along Ox, force Q makes an angle k with Oy.
Calculate the magnitude of the resultant force and the angle it makes with O when P=4N, Q=3N and k=60 degrees

HELP!!

I’m not sure what equation(s) you would use, but I would start by drawing out a diagram. Do you have any equations you’ve been working with?

you project the Q on

ox it will be like this Qx=Qcos(90-k)
oy Qy= Qsink

then you add the Qx to p [ now you have the force on x]
qy is the onle force on y

and start from here

i dont shour that this is the soulution but try it (i dont have the time to do it for you!!!)
