For of Against The Bomb?

So, I was reading stuff about herosima, the bomb on Japan, and want to know some opinions for an article. Are you for or against that bomb and why?

Just want to see what other people think, rather than basing the article strictly on what I think :)

As harsh as the act was I have to ask myself, “Did the ends justify the means.”

It is impossible to determine how many lives were saved versus lost. From what I remember, and I’m still working on my first cup of coffee, Japan was still determined to continue their battle even with the constraints of diminished resources. Someone correct me if I’m mistaken… anyway.. for an individual or group with that level of determination, they will keep coming at you till they succeed or die.

I believe it did bring an early termination to the war, and I believe that tens of thousands of lives were saved. I do not like fact that so many innocent people died for the outcome, but, “War is Hell.” people die, that is what war is. It is never fast, it is never easy. If you pick a fight, expect to get a bloody nose.

I summary, yes, I belive the ends justified the means.
