My mom just died a week ago today of breast cancer, she was 48.

That sucks. I can’t pay the utilities at my house or my phone bill and they will all probably be shut off tomorrow. I need a miracle.

Sorry to hear that. I lost my mom two weeks ago. Fortunately, I can still pay the bills…but not for long if the greif keeps affecting my work. I believe there is a time period after such events where you do not have to pay bills while dealing with the estate matters (however, I’m just learning this myself).

To be honest I am just whining a bit. I have a good job and things are getting better financially, I just wish it would have already been better so I could greive without any worry.

I am 27 and my dad just lost the person he has been married to for 29 years. He has not worked since June.

Your Moms death is so recent , a week ago. Call the utility company make arrangements for payment, if they know the reason they will work with you, if they don’t know then they cant.Don,t let things fall behind and get worse, this will add to your fragile emotional state.
Try to get the bills sorted and payments arranged, you and your father need this time to grieve and come to terms with whats happened.Just please dont let things get out of hand with the bills, many are suffering at this time, and if they know they will probably work with you to receive the money.))))) hugs and strengh.
