Point help: I have a bunch of old cushions that are stuffed with horse hair. - Help.com

I have a bunch of old cushions that are stuffed with horse hair.

I figured they might be useful to someone in restoring antique furniture. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I’d like to get a few bucks but ultimately I’d rather just not put them in a landfill…. I don’t even know where to begin.

All cushions are 15 1/2″ deep. The thickness is approximately 1 3/4″. The lengths are as follows.

(3) cushions - 152″ long
(1) cushion - 176 ”
(1) cushion - 172″
(1) cushion - 142″
(1) cushion - 104″
(1) cushion - 100″
(1) cushion - 85″
(1) cushion - 78″

wow, very interesting. and yes, they would be perfect for antiquers. Maybe try some antique sites or craiglist or even e-bay or try your local classifieds Good LUck

Do you still have the cushions that are stuffed with horse hair?
I teach American History and we just discussed the subject in class.

If you have them I would like to take one off your hands. Would be willing to make a payment. Would like the smallest you have.

Just let me know.
