Can anyone point me to a company in search of a help desk technician who is not certified yet but is experienced?

I just need a break…..to get my foot in the door. I have tried direct hire positions….temp agencies…even trying to work for myself….. I get initial interest but then I get the same thing…we are looking for someone certified in “xyz…”I just need a break….

the only way is to find a friend who works at the company. Even then your odds aren’t that good. I applied for an it technician job at a place where I was very connected to senior management, despite my skills and ability to do the job, and my referral, I wasn’t even interviewed.
