How do you flirt?

I need so serious tips on how to get the attention of a guy I like. I cant really go up to him and talk to him cos he’s always surrounded by friends. Help!

Why dance around the bushes when you can walk through them? Get through to him, and you’ll become a part of the group. You don’t need to make this a mission impossible kind of thing.

I added him on myspace and sent him a comment askin how he was in a casual way and he never replied. This was about a month ago and he has been on myspace since so he just ignored me.
