school help: Brighten My Day - Help.com

Brighten My Day

I play varsity volleyball at my middle school. I’m pretty good and so are the other 8th graders, we’re made up of 6,7,&8th graders. We just finished a game and we got creamed! I just finished crying and I want someone to say something that i can remember for later that can perk me up.

Write out a couple of these inspirational quotes on post-its and stick them all over the locker room mirrors tomorrow.

“You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don’t try.”

“I am not judged by the number of times I fail, but by the number of times I succeed: and the number of times I succeed is in direct proportion to the number of times I fail and keep trying.”

“Try and fail, but don’t fail to try.”

“Winning isn’t everything, but wanting to win is”

“The greatest test of courage on earth is to bear defeat without losing heart.”
